To all Wholesale and Retail Pharmacy License Holders

You are hereby informed that after reassessing the prevailing COVID 19 pandemic situation in the country, the National Medicines Regulatory Authority has decided to extend the validity of wholesale and Retail Pharmacy License for a period of one year with effect of year 2021. This extension can be considered only for the licenses which had a validity in year 2018 or thereafter and would be expired up to 31st December 2021.

The following conditions will be applied.

1. This extension is applicable for renewal applications only.
2. Wholesale and Retail Pharmacy License holders should apply for extension of each license before 31st August 2021. No request for extension of license under this scheme will be entertained after this date.
3. Applicant will be charged relevant fees for the licenses including any arrears payments for the previous years  
4. Following documents should be submitted by the applicant

• Request for extension (Download the request form)
• Original license
• Payment receipt as a proof

After screening of the request & payment verification, an official stamp will be placed on the original License indicating the period of extension and other relevant conditions.

NMRA may reject any request for extension of the licenses which do not comply with the requirements of the Act and regulations

The extension will be automatically cancelled with the immediate effect when online license is issued.

Wholesale and Retail  Pharmacy License Holders  should apply for the  subsequent renewal through the automation system
